Prakash Wires entered the steel sector in 1990, based in Kota, Rajasthan, under the leadership of two brothers — Mr. Suresh Jain and Mr. Nirmal Jain. It was formed with the vision of creating the best company in India that pushes the boundaries of manufacturing technology through innovation, disruption and a unique management style.

Today, Prakash Wires is an integrated manufacturing firm and one of the fastest-growing companies with a strong presence in the iron and steel sector. The Prakash Wires division is a leading manufacturer of wires in Rajasthan, and its numerous products are known for superior quality and absolute reliability.

Prakash Wires today boasts of successes across a range of domains, including the manufacturing of branded products — from the PC wire that reinforces cement poles and railway sleepers, to the barbed wire and chainlink that protect farms across rural India. Every one of the twelve product lines that leave our Kota facility is built on the same founding commitment: consistent quality, at scale, every single time.
